KC Cafe'

Welcome to our site, the KC Cafe', Located in Antique Country, Casey Iowa

We are the KC Cafe located in "Antique Country", Casey Iowa! We are a small "bedroom" community of less than 500 people located just off Interstate 80 exit 83, and Highway 6, (White Pole Road). We serve Breakfast and Lunch Monday thru Saturday and also an Evening Special on Friday Nights! We are open at 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and also 5:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday Evenings.

My intent with this cafe' is to provide a service to our Nations Veterans both past and present. Our motif is military gratitude, Harleys, and farm related.  This includes a custom mural by Ray "Bubba" Sorensen, Creator of "The Freedom Rock", reproduction signs, flags, memorials, and small town gratitude.In my opinion, what a better way to describe Central Iowa!

Stop by and enjoy a home cooked meal by my daughter Sam! She serves a daily lunch special and of course regular menu items. We also make home made Tenderloins, a famous Iowa delicacy!

Business phone number is 641-746-2258

These are subject to change and every week is different.  In addition to the Daily Special, we also offer the normal hamburger, cheeseburger, tenderloin sandwiches. Also assorted other entrees'. But for value of money, the Daily Special is the way to go!

A little about us;

I served our United States Armed Forces for a little over 13 years. I've always wanted to run a small cafe' or bar so when this opportunity came up I took it for that reason and one other. In rural Iowa, when a small town loses its cafe' it generally dies out and loses its identity. This community has always been good for me and my family so what better way to pay it back than keeping the cafe alive and well?  I currently continue to serve our government as a Letter Carrier in the Des Moines suburb of Clive. As far as the cafe is concerned I oversee the bill paying and maintenance of it, lol. Occasionally I am able to do a little cooking when my daughter lets me!

My daughter Samantha oversees and manages the day to day operations of our cafe'. She is a local graduate of the Adair-Casey Community Schools and has attended Central Community College in Ft. Dodge. Her future plans include continueing her college degree. She is a very mature 20 something with a commitment to her community and family.

Deb is our only waitress. She is a local resident of the community of Casey. She is also a veteran of our countries Armed Forces. There is only one Deb, she is quite the character, and is an asset to our local citizens.
